ABOUT COUNSELLING

Counselling is a talking therapy that offers the opportunity to work alongside an impartial professionally trained therapist. This journey enables you both to create a working relationship that is based around free-flowing dialogue and empathic listening. Placing at the forefront that you are the expert on yourself. It offers a space in which you can start a journey towards positive growth and change.


For counselling to be effective it is important that it is attended regularly.

As a general rule this is on a weekly basis, at a specific time, on the same day of the week. I appreciate that under certain circumstances this may not be possible. This can be discussed during the initial session.
